Mr. John Rivers, Director of Marketing
Adventure GPS Systems
507 E. Joppa Road Towson, MD 21286

Dear John,

I enjoyed talking with you yesterday at the New Markets / New Media conference regarding Adventure GPS System's need to promote its brand to Gen Y consumers. Enclosed you will find a prospectus for the report I mentioned describing the new Garminfone being offered by Garmin which will introduce a whole new way to navigate through the means of a smartphone.

As you noted yesterday, Adventure GPS Systems feels that in order to sell products that better appeal to Gen-Y users, they need to carry new more advanced products. I believe Proximity can work with you to devise a comprehensive campaign that uses never before seen integration of a full feature GPS into an Android based smartphone.

We can provide you with our focus group results to help portray Adventure GPS System's public image as that of a company that will appeal to Gen-Y users. Proximity's highly trained staff of consultants can help your sales team determine which marketing and advertising strategies to use to create a new campaign that will appeal to Gen-Y users. In addition, we have trained student marketers who can promote Adventure GPS Systems on many various means of social networking including; but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. Recent research conducted by our team shows that marketing through these mediums can be a much more effective way to communicate directly to Gen-Y users, and also save some money in the process.

Please us at Proximity’s Towson office for a special focus group session on Adventure GPS System's Gen Y brand image. After that session, you can meet with our consultants to discuss how Proximity can help you meet your goals of improving relations with the Gen-Y customer base.

Sincerely,
James Hatton
